Yesterday, the Diocese of Chicago and the Midwest special Assembly nominated His Grace Bishop Daniel who had been the Bishop of Santa Rosa and our locum tenens while the diocese was vacant. The Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church in America then elected him as our Bishop.
